London’s FTSE 100 rose 0.2 per cent Friday, with base metal miners up 0.2 per cent and precious metal miners up 2.4 per cent. Slowing recovery, supply chain worries and rate-hike fears have capped the gains on the FTSE 100 recently, as the blue-chip index fell 0.4 per cent this week while European peers rose 0.6 per cent. London Stock Exchange Group PLC also fell 6 per cent as supply chain shortages may affect timing of technology spending. The domestically focused mid-cap index added 0.1 per cent.
