Peacefully, on January 31, 2023, just shy of his 90th birthday, due to complications from Covid and Dementia. Born on April 15, 1933, in Toronto, Fred also lived in Bolton and Nobleton. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary. Loving father of Margaret (David Johnston), Jane (David Strong) and John (Patricia Fortier). Cherished grandfather to David, Elsa (Dylan Butt), Mitchell (Jennifer Strong) and Matthew; and greatgrandfather to Peyton. Loving brother to Doreen (Bill Dodds) and Ken (Marge Ewart). A teacher/ principal for 35 years at North York Board of Education with degrees from University of Toronto and McMaster.
