RICHARD CHARLES BROADHEAD

Rick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Rick was the beloved husband to Violet for almost 57 years; loving father to Rick and Kristin (Lionel); proud “Bub” to his grandchildren, Graydon, Foster, and Hadley and a good friend to many. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Lillian. Rick had a long career as a respected marketing and merchandising executive, including positions at Mac’s Convenience Stores and The UCS Group (United Cigar Stores). Rick possessed a keen intellect and was an avid reader, aquarium hobbyist, lover of music and an accomplished athlete. Rick was a passionate sports fan; he loved watching football, baseball, golf, basketball, and tennis-an enthusiasm he shared with his family. Rick also enjoyed spending time outdoors-one of his favourite places was his backyard oasis and pond. A celebration of life in memory of Rick will be held at a future date.
